TEDxGiarre is an independent event, independently organized under a TED license, created to bring the organization’s global mission to the Ionian-Etnean territory: to discover and promote “ideas worth spreading” that have the power to change the way we see the world.
The goal of the event is to inspire the community and highlight talent by presenting multiple topics and a variety of voices from different disciplines, with a strong connection to the territory, featuring speakers who have distinguished themselves in the STEM, artistic, cultural, social or sports fields.
The theme of the 2026 edition is (Re)Think Sicily: rethinking Sicily in its strength, beauty and ability to innovate.
